Green Spaces on Campus

The University of Lincoln is split over three campuses, Brayford, Riseholme and Holbeach. Our Riseholme Campus is set in the countryside with grounds that have established woodland and wildlife.

There are a variety of green space specific projects ongoing at our city centre Brayford campus at present. They include:

  • Kitchen Garden
  • Estates Rewilding
  • Lincoln Medical School Wildflower Meadows
  • Peace Garden
  • Urban Bee Garden (Sky Garden)
  • Hedgehog Friendly Campus
  • Joseph Banks Laboratories Wildflower Meadow
  • Observation Hive (the Brayford bees)

View details of these projects below.

This year, we’ve installed new environmentally related signage across campus at key points of interest. The signage was designed by University of Lincoln illustration graduate Elizabeth Martin.

Please contact the Environment Team by emailing environment@lincoln.ac.uk if you’d like to be involved in any of our gardening projects.
