Urgent Maintenance – Isaac Newton and Peter de Wint Buildings
As a result of the exceptional weather over the weekend, emergency communications infrastructure has been impacted in the Isaac Newton and Peter de Wint Buildings.
In these buildings, refuge phones and emergency cords in accessible toilets are not working at this time. In the event of an emergency or if you require assistance, please contact the security team on 01522 886062. University Security will be increasing patrols around these key areas.
If you use an accessibility aid, we encourage you to speak with your Line Manager so an alternative area of working can be considered. The Fire Marshals and Security will also be checking the area in the event of a fire alarm activation.
