The Science Bridge reopened on MONDAY 8 SEPTEMBER following refurbishment works this summer.
The works, which were carried out by Robert Woodhead Ltd. on behalf of Estates & Commercial Facilities, included:
- New surface
- Painting of stairwells
- New lift control panels
The Science Bridge was constructed in 2001 and provides a vital link across the campus for students, staff and visitors.
Over the next few weeks, further work will be carried out on the bridge, including the removal of the site compound around the bridge and the addition of bird netting to the underside of the bridge. During this time, the bridge will remain open.
