Our Brayford city centre campus was established in 1996. It currently comprises of 28 buildings, with the Ross Lucas Medical Sciences Building opened in Spring 2021.

Alfred Tennyson Building (ATB)
The Alfred Tennyson Building is equipped with media suites providing the latest broadcast television, radio and sound equipment, as well as television, photographic studios and radio editing suites. Siren FM, our on-campus community radio station, is based here.

Bridge House (BH)
Bridge House is home to the College of Social Science, Lincoln Institute for Health, Lincoln Law School, School of Education and School of Social and Political Sciences. The building includes a 100 seat lecture room, a moot court for students to practice advocacy and a common room for students and staff.

The Charlotte Scott Building is home to Professional Services touchdown workspaces and College of Health and Science Executive teams. The Charlotte Scott Building is located adjacent to Minster House.

The David Chiddick Building, home to the Lincoln International Business School, is a student-centred space, complete with lecture theatres.

Enterprise Building & Sparkhouse (ENT)
The Enterprise Building is home to the Careers and Employability Service, where students can access advice and support to maximise the opportunities available upon graduating. The building also houses our business incubation units, Sparkhouse Studios.

Isaac Newton Building (INB)
The Isaac Newton Building includes teaching, learning and research space for the Schools of Computer Science, Engineering and Maths & Physics. It is also the home of the College of Science Executive Office and Siemens Turbomachinery. A key feature of the building is the turbine workshop which is visible as you walk past.

The Janet Lane-Claypon Building is the base for laboratory-based instruction in Chemistry, Life Sciences and Pharmacy. The building includes flexible lab space used by all undergraduates in these subjects, as well as smaller specialist teaching and research spaces.

Joseph Banks Laboratories (JBL)
The Joseph Banks Laboratories provides cutting-edge facilities for undergraduate and postgraduate students and staff in the Schools of Chemistry, Life Sciences and Pharmacy. JBL is also a part of the Lincoln Science & Innovation Park.

Ross Lucas Medical Sciences Building (LMS)
The Ross Lucas Medical Sciences Building is home of the partnership between the universities of Nottingham and Lincoln, the School delivers the University of Nottingham’s Medicine and Medicine with Foundation Year degree programmes, enhanced with a Lincolnshire flavour. This building is the most sustainable building on the University Estate and features both solar panels and a living wall.

The LAC is home to our Dance and Drama programmes. The building also houses a 450-seat public auditorium for comedy, music and theatre, as well as the Zing café bar.

The Sarah Swift Building is home to the Schools of Health and Social Care, Psychology and the Centre for Professional Development. Completed in June 2017, the building includes specialist teaching spaces and laboratories for research.

The University’s Sports Centre houses a large selection of modern sports facilities. These include a fully equipped fitness centre with cardio and strength equipment, an eight-court sports hall, squash courts, outdoor football and hockey pitches, a dance studio and saunas.

Stephen Langton Building (SLB)
The Stephen Langton Building is home to the College of Arts Executive Office. It is also a conference facility, with a 250 seat auditorium and breakout space. Students’ Union (SU)
The Students’ Union includes the Towers, Engine Shed, The Platform and the SU offices. The Tower Bar is a student bar with social activities. The Engine Shed is Lincoln’s premier live performance venue, with a busy annual programme of events.
