The University has space for over 900 cycles on campus. There are various cycle compounds located on campus for the use of staff and students. The compounds are secure through Salto, staff and students can access them by updating their ID card at one of the main buildings, which will give them the permissions to gain entry into the compounds. If you have any trouble either email estatessupport@lincoln.ac.uk or visit the security desk in the Minerva building.
Showers are also available for staff members to use when they reach campus.

Bicycle and electric cycle / vehicle users are expected to obey the relevant Campus speed limits and show consideration for other vehicles and pedestrians.
Cycle2Work Scheme - Buy a Bike
The Cycle2Work scheme is a great Government tax break created to help employees acquire a bike and safety accessories for cycling to work.
As an employee of the University of Lincoln you are able to participate in the Cycle2Work scheme. It’s really simple to join and you could save up to 42% on a brand new bike and safety accessories as you don’t have to pay any tax or National Insurance.
The University can purchase a brand new bike and safety accessories on your behalf up to the value of £2500 tax free. This will then be paid directly from your salary over the period of either 12 months if the loan is up to £1000 or 24 months if it is between £1000 and £2500– part of a salary sacrifice scheme. After the 12/24 months the ownership of the bike and any accessories will be transferred by the university to you.
