Throughout July, the following planned works will be taking place across the University estate:

| Staircase modifications are taking place to increase safety in two buildings. This work is scheduled daily between 08:00 –Â 17:00 for 4 weeks. There may be some noise disruption from drilling. Emergency access to stairways will be maintained. | Minerva Building

| Amber Fire will be on-site to carry out fire stopping to wall, floor and ceiling compartmentation lines (access to all rooms and ceiling voids required). Access will be maintained during this period. | Joseph Banks Laboratories | Starts 20/07/20 – Completion end of July |
| Siemens are in the process of conducting fire alarm upgrades to control panels across campus. No fire alarms will be taken out of service and this work isn’t regarded as intrusive. Works will be specific to areas that the control panels are based only. | Engine Shed

| Alfred Bagnalls will be carrying out external decorations on the Brayford Campus.
All fire exits, entrance ways and pedestrian routes will be kept clear at all times.   A cherry picker will be used for the high-level décor. This work is not considered to be intrusive. |
