As part of the University’s £130m investment programme, we have constructed Cygnet Wharf, which provides 442 new study bedrooms over three buildings on the Brayford Pool campus.

Project overview

Cygnet Wharf is a key element of our Campus Masterplan. The University aims to provide all students with the opportunity to live in safe, well-managed accommodation on campus or within easy walking distance. The new development addresses growing demand for purpose-built on-campus accommodation and relieve pressure on Lincoln’s private housing stock.

The development consists of three new blocks and a landscaping scheme to create high-quality public spaces around the new buildings while preserving access for water users, pedestrians and drivers.

Location

Cygnet Wharf is located on the south bank of the Brayford Pool, to the east and west of the Brayford Way flyover:
