The University will be operating reduced building opening times over the Christmas period.
From close of business on 22 December until 8am on 4 January, academic buildings and office spaces will be closed, with a small number of exceptions that have been agreed locally.
The University Libraries will remain open during this period, apart from on Christmas Day, New Year’s Day and statutory bank holidays. Specific opening hours can be found via the library’s web pages library.lincoln.ac.uk. Buildings will reopen as normal on 4 January.
Witham House will remain open during the Christmas period for worship.
Lawress Hall will be closed to all but the Security team who will be managing Security on site at Riseholme.
For students who will be staying in Lincoln for Christmas, both the Students’ Union and the University have plans in place to ensure you are supported. The Security team will be working throughout the Christmas period. Please call them on 01522 88 6062 if you have any concerns.
The Estates Support Desk will be closed during this period, please contact Security with any maintenance jobs.
Staff and students are advised that access will only be provided to closed buildings in an emergency or to those who have been authorised in advance by their Pro Vice Chancellor or Director.
