Project Update – The Lincoln Medical School

The bones of the Lincoln Medical School have come together, with the steel framework now being complete. Last month, work continued on-site with the completion of the concrete floor planks and fire spraying of steelwork. Work has now commenced on the secondary framing system and lift shafts, whilst the installation of the concrete flooring continues.

The building will include a range of laboratories such as clinical skills suite, an anatomy suite and a category 2 science laboratory as well as high-quality social learning spaces. It will also be home to a new dedicated Bio-Medical & Health Sciences Library, which will bring together the University’s collections covering Medicine; Life Sciences; Pharmacy; Chemistry; Nursing and Allied Health & Social Care.
