Postal Items over the Summer Period

To aid in ensuring postal items ordered by University staff are received and distributed efficiently, over the Summer period we kindly request the One Campus Way Post Room is used as a centralised location for deliveries.

The Postal Team will receive parcels and keep them secure within the Post Room, until they are either collected by the recipient or distributed by the team to the correct building. This will assist in mitigating any missed deliveries or items being left unattended due to building closures or reduced opening hours over the Summer period.

Staff are asked to use the One Campus Way postal address on deliveries, and to include c/o Recipient Name – Intended Building at the start of the address. An example is provided below:

c/o J. Bloggs – Minerva Building
One Campus Way
University of Lincoln
Campus Way
Lincoln
LN6 7WB

Please note that deliveries of hazardous materials or large boxes/pallets should still be sent directly to the intended building with a member of the requesting department available to receive the item on the day and should not be sent to the Post Room. Any deliveries of these types that are sent to the Post Room will be refused.

The Postal Team is happy to answer any queries relating to post including building delivery addresses, outgoing processes, and special requirements. They can be contacted at postroomlincoln@lincoln.ac.uk

Further information can be found on the Postal Webpage and the Postal FAQ page.
