There will be a planned power shutdown to the south side of the Brayford campus on Sunday 5 March 2023. This is to facilitate essential 5 yearly HV maintenance. Estates are coordinating with ICT planned maintenance on this date to minimise service interruptions.
What ICT services will be impacted?
Most ICT services including the university network across all campuses will be unavailable from 17:00 on Saturday 4 March until approximately midnight on Sunday 5 March. Office 365 and email will remain available.

What if I need to access a building?
We would ask that staff and students wait until the power is back online to access buildings. Once power has been reinstated, buildings will reopen to normal weekend hours.
I am running an experiment in a laboratory/rendering in a computer suite, how should I prepare?
Please ensure that you have taken the appropriate measures to save your work and shut down equipment safely. Unfortunately, Estates cannot provide any external power to buildings during this outage.
