The University’s Procurement Team and Estates Department have recently re-tendered the contract for furniture and has awarded its preferred supplier agreement to the BOF Group Limited.
The new agreement is to start on the 01 February 2020.
The new agreement will cover all loose furniture for office, reception, breakout and general teaching spaces, plus any other associated products and all associated services. This also includes delivery and installation.
A bespoke catalogue of products and ordering guide is currently being developed and will be available on both the Procurement section of the portal and the Estates Department website when the new agreement commences.
The main objectives of the agreement are to support value for money for the University, develop appealing and functional spaces, achieve consistency across the campus, provide long warranty periods and support future aspirations to tag and track furniture. In addition, the contract will also work towards implementing suitable sustainable and environmental initiatives where possible.
For orders required prior to the new contract:
You may continue to place your orders with the current supplier SouthernsBroadstock. However, from the 01 February 2020, all loose furniture orders should be placed with the BOF Group Limited.
