MISHAPS and reporting issues to the Estates Support Desk

Colleagues are reminded to report any maintenance issues across the estate to the Estates Support Desk online via the following link: https://estates.lincoln.ac.uk/support-desk/

After you have submitted a job via our Support Desk, you can view the status of this request by selecting “View your current requests” on the Support Desk webpage.

If there is an urgent maintenance issue, such as a power, water or gas outage, or emergency access issue, please ring the Support Desk on 01522 886777. Out of hours, please call the Security team on 01522 886062.

Reporting MISHAPs

 
If you report an accident or incident on University premises via a MISHAP form (Monitoring of Incidents for Safety Health and Accident Prevention), please also consider reporting this to the Support Desk also, particularly if this is related to an estates issue. MISHAPS can be reported via the online portal: https://portalapps.lincoln.ac.uk/HS/Accident/Pages/Default.aspx
The short list below are summary examples of reactive issues that have been reported as MISHAPS and or reported as emergency reactive during out of hours and not reported on Planon.
– Dripping tap
– Small leak
– Lamp/light not working
– Heating not working
– Blocked toilet
– Lift no working
