From Monday 17 October, works will begin to improve the main entrance to the University Boulevard Car Park. These works include a new Security cabin, the installation of speed bumps and new bollards. Works will take approximately 4 weeks to complete.
Contractors will be digging a trench to facilitate power to the new Security cabin across the green space adjacent to Sparkhouse and Enterprise.
From 22 October, trench works will continue across the road to the cabin. Contractors will dig across one side of the road at a time so that access to the carpark is maintained. This work will not impact the traffic lights. Staff are advised that queues may occur at peak times due to the one-way system.
