The University will be operating reduced building opening times over the Christmas period.

From 7pm on Friday 20 December until Thursday 2 January, academic buildings and office spaces will be closed, with a small number of exceptions that have been agreed locally.

Adjusted building opening hours will remain in place until 5 January. For more information on building opening hours during the festive period, see the table below.

Opening hours for the University Libraries and can be found via library.lincoln.ac.uk. Buildings will reopen as normal on 4 January.

Witham House will remain open during the Christmas period for worship.

Please refer to Lincoln Performing Arts Centre, the University Sports Centre and Students’ Union websites for their opening hours.

The Campus Linc Bus service will finish on Friday 20 December and resume as normal on Monday 6 January 2025.

For students who will be staying in Lincoln for Christmas, both the Students’ Union and the University have plans in place to ensure you are supported.  More details on the support available can be found on the Student Services web pages https://studentservices.lincoln.ac.uk/ and the Students’ Union Advice Centre website https://lincolnsu.com/advice-over-christmas.

The Security team will be working throughout the Christmas period. Please call them on 01522 88 6062 if you have any concerns.

Staff and students are advised that access will only be provided to closed buildings in an emergency or to those who have been authorised in advance by their Pro Vice Chancellor or Director.
