During the Easter break between Friday 18 – Tuesday 22 April, building opening hours will be reduced. Most academic buildings will be closed, with the exception of the following buildings:
- Isaac Newton Building, which will operate on standard opening hours between 7am to 11pm via swipe access for all staff and students
- Joseph Banks Laboratories, which will operate on standard opening hours via swipe access for all staff and students
- Witham House worship facilities will also be available via swipe access during this time
Local access arrangements may apply for individual buildings. Access will remain unaffected for tenanted spaces. All buildings will revert to usual operating hours on Wednesday 23 April. Specific building arrangements can be viewed below.
Campus Linc service over Easter
Staff and students are advised that the Campus Linc bus service will be unavailable from Friday 18 – Friday 25 April. Regular service will resume on Monday 28 April.
Lawress Hall
Lawress Hall will also be closed between Friday 18 – Tuesday 22 April, and will reopen on Wednesday 23 April to usual opening hours.
University Library
The University Library hours can be found on: https://library.lincoln.ac.uk/
Accommodation
Accommodation will be open as usual.
FoodLinc Easter Closures
Theorem located in Isaac Newton building, GF&Co located in David Chiddick building and Pier Café located in Minerva building will be closed Monday 14 – Friday 25 April.
Think Tank, Lawress Hall Café and Lindons located in Minerva building will be closed Friday 18 – Tuesday 22 April.

Closed/restricted access during this period:
- Sports Centre – closed
- Minerva Building – open only for security staff
- Lawress Hall – open only for security staff
- One Campus Way – main door on auto for access to the laundry as usual, offices closed Friday & Monday, open Easter Tuesday
- Minster House – restricted to specific staff
- Janet Lane-Claypon and Ross Lucas Medical Sciences Building – closed with emergency access for specific staff
- Access to the Junxion for DT staff only on Tuesday 22 for AV works
All other buildings closed and locked with no access for staff or students.
Accessing a closed building:
Staff and students will not be able to gain access to closed buildings, except for some limited exceptions which must be agreed locally in advance. Staff or student cards will be required to access all open buildings listed above.
