LovetoRide September 2021 Competition Terms and Conditions
1. Competition is only open to students currently studying at the University of Lincoln or employees working at the University of Lincoln. Student or staff ID would be required upon collection of the prize.
2. The competition runs alongside and supports the Love-to-Ride national competition
3. Staff or Students must log at least five rides in order to qualify for the prize draw
4. The top prize winner will be determined by the cyclist with the highest number of logged rides during September.
5. The second prize for the prize draw will be drawn at random by the Sustainability Team.
6. Winner must collect the prize from the Estates department in the Charlotte Scott Building, this must be arranged with the Sustainability Team.
7. Prize must be collected by October 1st 2021.
8. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is non-transferable.
9. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current [UK] data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party.

Guess what’s in the Lincolnshire Co-op Fairtrade box correctly and you’ll be entered into a prize draw to win it!

3. The competition will be run across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
4. Winner will be drawn by the Environment Team and will be notified via social media by Friday 6th March.

In the run up to Tree Charter day this coming Saturday we’ll be running a competition! Send us photos or your own art of the most colourful leaves you can find to be in with the chance of winning a Waterstones gift card.
How to enter:
1. Upload your photo to Twitter or Instagram.
2. Tag us @GreenLincolnUni on Twitter or @uolestates on Instagram.
1st prize is a £25 Waterstones gift card, with two £15 Waterstones gift cards available to runners up.
Terms and Conditions
1. Competition is only open to students currently studying at the University of Lincoln.
2. The “Tree Seeking” competition will end at 5pm on 26th November 2018. After this date no further entries will be accepted.
3. Winner will be chosen by the Environment Team and will be notified via social media by 29th November 2018.
4. Winner must collect prize by 6th December 2018 and be able to collect it from the Brayford Campus.

PERMISSIONS AND COPYRIGHT
8. If your photograph features any person or people, they should be aware that they are being photographed and written permission (model release) should be obtained by the photographer from all involved (or their parent’s/guardian’s permission if under 18). The University reserves the right to disqualify any entry where such permissions are unclear.
9. Copyright in all images submitted for this competition remains with the respective photographer. However, each photographer grants a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual license to the University of Lincoln to feature their submitted image in any of their publications, websites and/or in any promotional material connected to this competition, including licensing for (non-commercial) editorial use by third party media. The Promoter will always ask third party media to credit photographers where images are used but cannot be held responsible for errors or omissions.
10. Winners agree to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material associated with the Competition. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
INDEMNITY
11. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the University of Lincoln excludes its liability for any loss, damage, injury, cost or expense suffered by entrants, whether directly or indirectly and howsoever caused, in connection with the Competition and use of any prize. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude the University’s liability for death or personal injury arising from its own negligence or any other liability that cannot, as a matter of law, be excluded.
12. By entering this competition you agree to indemnify the University of Lincoln and keep the University of Lincoln indemnified against any loss, damage, injury, cost or expense suffered by the University as a result of your entry in the Competition, including (but not limited to) any claim of infringement of intellectual property rights made by any third party.
13. The University of Lincoln reserves the right to cancel or amend this Competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Promoter’s control. Any changes to the Competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible.
ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
The Competition and these Terms and Conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England. Entry into the Competition will be deemed as acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
