We’re working with the Library team to develop more Library Learning Lounges in the near future.

Silent Study – Third floor
The third floor of the Library is a dedicated silent study area. It is designed for independent study with individual carrels and study spaces.
Talking is permitted on the first and second floors but we do ask that noise is kept to a conversational level, and that all Library users be considerate of others.

FAQs
Are food and drink allowed in the lounges?
Staff and students are welcome to bring food and drink into these social learning spaces but we ask that you are mindful of others working around you.
Water fountains are also available in most buildings on campus.
Can I print here?
Printers are available in both the David Chiddick and Alfred Tennyson lounges.
