On Tuesday 23rd April (Easter Tuesday) the Estates Team will be facilitating a rolling programme of electricity shutdowns to allow for essential maintenance across the main campus. The electricity will be off for around half an hour for each of the buildings, but we do not anticipate a need to close the buildings.
It is important that everything is shut down correctly before staff leave for the Easter holidays. Please shut down your computer and switch off the lights before leaving campus.
The following buildings will be affected by the shutdown at the following times (please note that times are approximate, but all efforts will be made to ensure the programme is kept to schedule):
|Peter de Wint / Isaac Newton phases 1 & 2||06.15 – 06.45|
|Isaac Newton phase 3||06.45 – 07.15|
|LPAC / Engine Shed||07.30 – 08.00|
|Library / Spark House / Enterprise||08.15 – 09.00|
|Sports Centre / Witham House||10.15 – 11.00|
|Minerva / Canoe Club||11.15 – 12.00|
|Alfred Tennyson / Stephen Langton||12.45 – 13.30|
|Cygnet Wharf||13.30 – 14.15|
|Courts 6 to 10||14.15 – 15.00|
|Courts 1 to 5||15.00 – 15.45|
|Courts 13 to 17 / Bridge House / Village Hall||15.45 – 16.30
In addition, to reduce energy consumption over Easter, Estates will also be lowering the temperature of heating in buildings whilst they are unoccupied over the Easter weekend. This will include all buildings across campus except for commercial or business facilities that remain open, student accommodation, and Minster House.
If you have any queries about these works or are intending to be on site over the Easter weekend, please to contact the Environment team before Thursday 18th April 2019 by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
