Hill Holt Wood are turning old plastic bottles into greenhouses. They are looking to build one at St Francis Community & Special School, and another at their own site just outside the city.
The Students’ Union and the Environmental Sustainability Team are working with colleagues in the University to help collect 2 litre bottles to help Hill Holt Wood achieve their goal. There are two collection sites on campus, one in the reception area of the Students’ Union, and the other at the recycling point near Bridge house. The bins are marked up and easy to spot.
1,300 individual 2 litre bottles are needed for each greenhouse so please take yours to the collection points rather than putting them in the other bins at home or around campus.
